Big Ricky's Is born

It all started when...

Much like the accidental discovery of champagne, Big Ricky’s was serendipitously born on a cold 2016 night in Fall River, MA. Within the walls of a blanket factory, an industrial sewing machine broke unexpectedly, and began spilling oil. In a moment that can only be described as divine intervention, factory owner Rick Lotuff picked up an extra piece of blanket in a hopeless attempt to contain the mess.

As it turns out, using 17,500 polyester filament yarns per square inch is a perfect antidote to synthetic messes. 100% of the oil was absorbed. No smear marks were left. The surface was left unscathed. And given the natural softness of the blanket material, Rick’s (gruff, strong and manly) hands were left smooth.

So Ricky and his team went to work. They took the original blanket material and started making improvements. They tested. Enhanced, tested again and again and a few months later, on another cold 2016 night in Fall River, the legend of Big Ricky’s, first of its name, was born.
